Die Ausstellung zeigt Arbeiten, die im Rahmen des K\u00fcnstlerprogramms in der Akademie f\u00fcr Suffizienz<\/em> in Reckenthin entstanden sind. Diesmal wurde ein internationales Team eingeladen, f\u00fcr vier Wochen in der Prignitz zum diesj\u00e4hrigen Thema \u201aAnstrengung\u2018 zu arbeiten. Viele der Arbeiten, die uns versorgen, werden heute von Maschinen verrichtet, die meist viel Energie verbrauchen \u2013 mit negativen Folgen f\u00fcr die Umwelt. Was ist f\u00fcr uns heute anstrengend, wie gehen wir mit Anstrengungen um?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lucas Souza gestaltet skulpturale Installationen mit Textilien und strebt eine Wiederherstellung der in unserem \u00dcberkonsum verloren gegangenen Verbindung mit ihnen an. Triviale Dinge des Alltags werden von Agnes Wojtas in Kombination mit gefundenem Holz aus der Umgebung zu Objekten arrangiert. Ingrid Bittar sammelt aus der lokalen Flora und dem Boden Material, mit dem sie experimentiert, um es in der Darstellung ihrer Eindr\u00fccke von der Region zu verarbeiten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Akademie f\u00fcr Suffizienz \u2013 nutzen, was da ist<\/strong>
Die Akademie f\u00fcr Suffizienz<\/em> im l\u00e4ndlichen Brandenburg bietet Anregung und Raum, um Wirtschaft zu reflektieren und zu gestalten. Sie ist daf\u00fcr eingerichtet, Alternativen in Produktion, Verteilung und Versorgung zu erleben. Dabei st\u00fctzt sie sich auf regionalen Austausch und auf Suffizienz als Leitbild materieller Bewirtschaftung. Die Infrastruktur und die Ausstattung spiegeln diese Prinzipien, machen sie im Alltag erfahrbar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition presents works that were created within the framework of the artists\u2019 program at the Akademie f\u00fcr Suffizienz<\/em> in Reckenthin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This time, an international group was invited to work for four weeks on this year\u2019s topic: \u201cEffort.\u201d Much of the work that takes care of us today is done by machines, which generally need a lot of energy\u2014with negative consequences for the environment. What requires effort of us today and how do we deal with making an effort?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lucas Souza designs sculptural installations with textiles and strives to reproduce the connection with them that we have lost as a result of our overconsumption. Agnes Wojtas arranges trivial things from day-to-day life in combination with found wood from the surroundings to create objects. Ingrid Bittar collects material from the local flora and the ground and experiments with it so as to process it in depicting her impressions of the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Akademie f\u00fcr Suffizienz\u2014Use What There Is<\/strong>
The Akademie f\u00fcr Suffizienz<\/em> in rural Brandenburg offers inspiration and space to reflect and create. It is set up to experience alternatives in production, distribution, and supply. In doing so, it depends on regional exchange and sufficiency as guiding principle for managing materials. The infrastructure and the equipment at the Akademie reflect these principles and make it possible to experience them in day-to-day life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
